My Path So Far

I’ve worn a few hats over the years. Editor. QA lead. Chief Editor. Content strategist. Crowdfunding copywriter.

What started as tightening drafts and protecting standards gradually turned into leading editorial teams, building scalable content systems, and shaping strategy for agencies and growth-stage companies. Along the way, I stepped into investor-facing work where precision matters and clarity carries real weight.

Across those roles, the focus has stayed consistent. I care about getting the message right, building structure behind it, and making sure the work performs long after it goes live.

The journey has been less than typical.

Deadlines, pivots, and a few plot twists included.

Here’s the recap…

Potomac Growth

Copywriter | August 2025 – Present

Potomac Growth supports startups and growth-stage companies with capital strategy and lead generation.

I develop messaging for equity crowdfunding campaigns, paid ads, investor email flows, platform pages, and related marketing assets. Investor-facing copy carries weight. Every claim must be precise, grounded, and compliant.

I work directly with founders and leadership teams to translate complex business models into clear, understandable narratives. The focus is credibility, structure, and thoughtful positioning. Investors should feel informed and confident in what they are reading.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, compliance, and persuasion.

Fractl

SEO Content QA Editor | October 2025 – January 2026

Fractl is a Moz-recommended content marketing agency working with brands like Upwork, McAfee, and DIRECTV. The expectations are high, and the details matter.

I reviewed long-form SEO content before publication, focusing on clarity, structure, alignment with search, and editorial quality. Each piece had to answer the right questions, read naturally, and compete effectively in search results.

My work involved tightening weak sections, clarifying intent, strengthening internal linking, and refining arguments so the final product felt cohesive and credible.

Content that went live needed to stand on its own. My role was to make sure it did.

WordAgents

Director of Content Strategy | October 2024 – October 2025

When I returned to WordAgents after its rebrand, the company was ready to evolve beyond content production.

I helped guide the shift toward a strategy-led model. Instead of delivering isolated blog posts, we built structured content systems aligned with revenue goals and long-term positioning.

My role included developing proposals, building client roadmaps, refining service tiers, and creating operational SOPs that improved consistency and efficiency. I also analyzed performance data and market opportunities, then translated those insights into practical recommendations clients could execute.

It was a hands-on leadership role centered on systems, accountability, and measurable growth.

ALLCAPS Media

Trial Article Writer | September 2024 – August 2025

ALLCAPS uses trial articles to demonstrate expertise to prospective clients.

I wrote those pieces.

Each article was structured to show depth of research, strategic thinking, and strong editorial standards from the first paragraph. Several trial projects converted directly into long-term client engagements.

Writing at that stage required clarity, confidence, and attention to detail. A first impression needed to feel intentional and polished.

Monkeybox Media

Senior Copywriter & Editor | July 2023 – January 2025

Monkeybox works with early-stage SaaS brands focused on growth.

I joined after consulting on editorial structure and guidelines, then stepped into a senior writing and editorial role. My work included landing pages, long-form SEO content, newsletters, and eBooks designed to support acquisition and recurring revenue.

Multiple client accounts saw significant organic traffic growth, and in several cases, revenue doubled within six months of implementation.

I also led editorial reviews, mentored writers, and formalized workflows so quality remained consistent across accounts.

Wealth of Geeks

Freelance Journalist | January 2024 – July 2024

Wealth of Geeks is a digital media outlet syndicated across platforms like MSN, reaching millions of readers each month.

I wrote lifestyle, travel, and entertainment pieces designed to inform and engage. Several articles surpassed one million pageviews through syndication.

The experience sharpened my instincts around headline construction, audience behavior, and timing. High-volume publishing demands discipline and adaptability, especially when topics shift quickly.

WordAgents

Editor → QA Specialist → Chief Editor | April 2022 – June 2023

I began at WordAgents as an editor, moved into quality assurance, and later assumed the role of Chief Editor. I managed a team of more than 25 editors within a network of over 500 writers.

My focus was on establishing scalable quality control systems. Clear editorial standards, structured review processes, and consistent training reduced client revision requests and strengthened overall output.

Leading at that level required attention to detail and steady communication across a large, fast-moving team.

Screen Rant

TV and Movie News Writer | October 2021 – June 2022

At Screen Rant, I covered breaking news in film and television.

The role required speed, accuracy, and a clear understanding of what readers wanted to know in the moment. I published more than 100 articles and generated millions of pageviews across my bylines.

Working in entertainment news reinforced the value of clarity under pressure and writing that connects quickly.
